La Montata, Bruni 54, 2010. This is a VERY unique grape. It is a field cross of Verdicchio and Sauvignon Blanc. It was developed by Professor Bruni as an attempt to add depth of flavor and body to Trebbiano. It was a success, but found little interest with traditional growers and wine makers. Today, fifty years later, more open minded and adventuresome wine makers are rediscovering this outstanding grape. We are proud to be the only source for this wine, but I suspect this will change soon. Try something unique and enjoy the new old grape.
Saint Nabor, Gres Rose, 2011. A Rose based on Tempranillo, Grenache, Cinsaut. Free run only juice.
